A New Season

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

The time has come to starting writing in earnest and so I begin. This blog will be a place to report on writing projects, to record my thoughts on books I've read, and to ponder life.

I am grateful to my family and friends for the encouragement to pursue my passions. For years as I completed my education and finally got my Masters to become a librarian, I had a cheering section with husband Phil leading the squad. Even now, when I scan the employment opportunities, I am able to call upon my "people" to pray for me as I go for interviews. Thank you! I feel the same way about those special people who urge me on in the areas in which I believe God has gifted me.

My dear friend Sylvia has once again challenged me to stop saying I'm going to write ... (you name it) a book, a short story, a paragraph ... and just do it. So here it is. My beginning.
